February 08 A moment's peace It's 7.20pm and Zoe has gone to sleep early as she hasn't had a nap all day again. I will probably be in bed within the hour as the twelve hours of constant playing and chasing wears me out and I don't know what the night will involve. Sometimes Zoe sleeps through, other times she wakes once and goes back OK, other times she can wake up to 4 times in the night and will want to come into bed with me. Sometimes, like last night it can take 2 hours to settle her and 2am-4am are long dark hours. Zoe is full of life now she has got over all her colds she's had this winter. I don't know where she gets her energy from. She has a good balanced diet of freshly prepared food which she really enjoys and is always keen to try new things. She doesn't like fish and chips though but I think we knew that from when I was pregnant! I never managed to keep a mouthful down! We might try and get Zoe a bookcase for her bedroom tomorrow. She loves books. Tuesday we will go to Krazy Kaves and on Wednesday we're going to try the new "Baba Disco" at a local club! Thursday and Friday I will be working on and off throughout the day. I still find it hard to leave Zoe and so do just half hour sessions. I miss her so much but I do enjoy my time with my clients when I can think and talk on an adult level and use my brain a bit!
