Sheila's Space!

Zoe enjoyed her spaghetti bolognaise that I cooked her today, her first stage 3 meal, it was yummy. Well it should have been, it took around 4 hours in total to prepare! I don't spend 4 hours on my own spaghetti bolognaise! Luckily I did it in stages.

I would love to look as glamorous as Annabel Carmel having spent hours in the kitchen cooking yummy dishes for my little one but I haven't the energy when I've been up 5 times the previous night. Now making up for lost time playing with Zoe. She did help but how much help can a 9 month old be? If I get a spare few hours I'll have my hair done, nails done, make up done.... lol

Zoe's weight gain this month was rubbish, only 1oz in 3 weeks! It's because she's walking now!

She's still not sleeping through the night, although we have found that giving her mashed potato before bedtime seemed to work at filling her up, for one night anyway.

Zoe is doing absolutely great. She's standing up by herself and crawling around really fast! She loves her food and I'm still feeding her every two and a half hours!

We go to swimming lessons once a week and attned the Cathedral Mother & Baby/ Toddler group which she seems to love. She enjoys watching the other children and playing on loads of different toys, not that she hasn't got loads here already!

We watch In the Night Garden most mornings and she is a topp fan of Igglepiggle and Upsy-daisy.

We've been to the local sealife centre and Zoe loves the fish and we have a couple of fish mobiles in ehr room too.

We're hoping to get to Krazy Kaves this week!

Hooray. My eye is OK. Had to have some awful drops to dilate the pupils so they could be looked at better. Was rather sore and glary for a few hours but wore off by next morning. That's me fit and healthy now. Hooray!

FINALLY been given a clear bill of health today, neurology report was OK, just got to go to hospital on Wednesday about my eye but that's not pregnancy related.

My doctor seemed totally unsympathetic though and told me I shouldn't harass people! The fact that I was promised my results within a week and they took 2 months of constant chasing seems to be acceptable to her! Won't be seeing her again.
