Well, I say all is OK but one of the blood tests I had done on my 16 week scan showed that my blood sugar level was slightly high and I'm not making enough insuline. Could be the onset of gestational diabetes but this wouldn't usually kick in till 26 weeks if at all, could be diabetes or just a blip. It could also be to do with the amount I've been sick which is still quite a lot and my body doesn't know whether to produce insuline or not. So I was referred to the Diabetic Midwife Specialist who I went to today and she took some blood to test and gave me some advise about diet, she was really nice and helpful. Got to wait for results but she will ring me as soon as they're in. Fingers crossed.
Baby been moving around a lot today and been getting some quite interesting back ache!

Had my 18 week midwife appointment today and all is well. Heard the baby's heart beat again.

Just got back from having my 16 week scan - all OK - baby doing well. Hooray!
