We're pretty sure Spike has come home! His food has been going down bit by bit and it's smelling very 'hoggy' down there! I did hear him one night too in his 'banqueting hall' too!

I thought my sickness was easing but judging by this weekend it's gone back up a gear so hope it will ease soon. 16 week scan next week. Tiredness and pacing myself still remains a priority.

Spike hadn't eaten his food for 3 days so we had to take the decision to look in his boxes (he had 2 houses and a box of straw). He'd definately been in both and took a little flower in that I left in his doorway. He wasn't in either.

Just before the end of the hibernation season I warned my neighbour to watch out for Spike when he came in in his car, I went and talked to the local fishermen to tell them to come and get me if they found a hog in their lobster pots and spoke to the local roadsweeper to tell him to come and get me if he found a hog that needed help because Spike was going to be awake soon. No-one had seen a hog in our area all the time they had been here.

When I spoke to the roadsweeper on Friday he said that he'd found a hog drowned on the beach on Wednesday. We hope and pray that it wasn't Spike and that he has just gone off to find a mate or someone is looking after him.

Spike had a good winter with us. His old house was absolutely packed with leaves and loads of straw I'd left for him to pull in, and toatally dry and cosy, it is a wonder he even got in it.

Spike's newer house remains in the same corner (the old one fell apart as we emptied the straw), with his banqueting hall with a tower of munchies, a water dish, swimming pool (a shallow dish for him to paddle in) and a parasol to keep him cool in the hot sun in case one day he might come home.

Just got back from my 12 week scan. All OK and baby seems to be functioning well. Saw baby having a drink. My statistics for specific conditions dramatically decreased too from the tests compared to just my age data. Really happy although took a long time as baby kept rolling up to sleep so was difficult to get measurements initially. Really happy, all looks good.

Hooray! Midwife's been, all well, heard baby's heart beat so really happy.

Someone went into labour yesterday so still waiting for my midwife's appointment. She was meant to call back later but still waiting.

Midwife's coming to see me on Good Friday & my 13 week scan is booked for 14th April.
